»Fahrenheit 451«
Experimental book design for a dystopian novel about a society in which possession of books is strictly prohibited. Design is based on the idea of preserving books and the quote “It’s not the books you need. It’s some of the things that are in books.” The book is divided into five parts, each one typographically treated following a character whose ideas it represents. It is not bound, so with its appearance, it does not reveal itself as a book, and parts of it can be easily hidden and “saved from firemen”. Stickers with the book’s most important quotes allow you to place them anywhere and keep the book’s main idea.
