The work is created as a synthesis of individual works that are visually and conceptually connected into a complete book form. Its robustness and rusticity are the result of using naturally occurring materials like sand, ash, sawdust, and other plant-based remains. As a counterbalance to a dim, earthy color gamma and emphasized texture, there are some bright accents of color and materials contrasting to the condensed facture, like smooth, transparent foil. Conceptually originating out of the motif of landscape and soil, every page represents its aspects in the form of a fragmented micro-picture.
